Student Wellbeing

We hope everyone enjoyed a lovely long weekend and had the chance to rest, recharge and spend quality time with family and friends.

YEAR 4 CAMP

Our Year 4 Camp was a G.R.E.A.T success! Students and staff were treated to beautiful weather and a jam-packed few days filled with fun, adventure and new challenges.

Camp provides our students with meaningful opportunities to step outside their comfort zone and develop confidence. Whether it was learning to canoe, speeding down the waterslide, playing in the mud pool or simply trying something new, we were proud to see friendships flourish and new skills grow each day.

A huge thank you to Sam Hose for her outstanding organisation, and to our dedicated staff for giving their time and energy to support our students: David Symeonidis, Shirley O’Shannessy, Jordan Daley, Sheryl Munks-Callahan, Brad Ryan, Josh Hicks, Ruby Cuce and Gillian Wilkins. Your commitment makes experiences like this possible!

An extra big thank you to our parent volunteers who attended to support. Thanks to Mel Smith, Sarah Gibson, Connie Johnston, Jayce Dall’amico and Noel Skrzypzak. It is very much appreciated.

WORKING BEE - SATURDAY 15TH NOVEMBER

A fresh load of mulch has been delivered and will be distributed at our Working Bee on 15th November. We would love as many families to come and support on the day as possible. The Working Bee will run from 8:45am - 11:30am and the work will predominantly be garden care, mulching, sand moving and general school tidy up. If you are able to attend, please register on the following link: (https://www.carebookings.com.au/code - code is JGU9L). This will assist us in planning for the day. Remember to grab your child’s lunch order voucher for attending on the day.

Thank you in advance to our wonderful volunteers who help make our school environment such a welcoming and safe place.

BUILDING WORKS

There has been plenty of activity around our school grounds recently. Our amphitheatre balustrade is almost complete and looking fantastic. Yellow edge markings have also been added to help students safely navigate corners and level changes and our play areas have been topped up with soft-fall mulch.

CULTURAL INCLUSION DAY

Our Inclusion Action Team has organised a special day to celebrate and support every student in our community. On Thursday 6th November, we will hold our Inclusion Parade at 9:15am, followed by a session focusing on what inclusion means and how our words and actions can help everyone feel valued and respected.

Events like this help us continue to build a school where every student feels seen, supported and celebrated — a truly G.R.E.A.T community!
