Year 11 Hospitality Students Shine at Network Awards Preparation

On 12th November, the Year 11 Hospitality class demonstrated outstanding professionalism as they worked collaboratively in the school’s commercial kitchen to prepare a range of mocktails and beautifully plated food for the Network Awards. From the moment they entered the kitchen, students displayed a level of focus, organisation and teamwork that reflected genuine industry standards.

 

Working in production teams, students confidently measured, mixed and styled an assortment of vibrant mocktails, ensuring consistent flavour, presentation and service quality. Their plating skills were equally impressive, with each dish showcasing attention to detail, balance of colour, and an understanding of contemporary food presentation techniques.

 

Throughout the session, the students communicated clearly, supported one another, and adapted to the fast-paced environment. Their efficiency and skill level were evident in the smooth workflow and the professional standard of the final products.

 

The school is extremely proud of the maturity, effort and technical ability shown by these emerging hospitality professionals. Their contribution to the Network Awards not only enhanced the event but also demonstrated their readiness to step confidently into industry environments in the future.
