Keep Going Strong, Year 9 — Finish the Year with Pride!

As we approach the end of the school year, it’s time for Year 9 students to reflect on how far you’ve come — and to finish 2025 strong! Every lesson, every effort, and every moment of teamwork matters as you prepare to complete Year 9 and step into your senior years with confidence.

Now is the perfect time to keep showing your commitment through consistent attendance, wearing your uniform with pride, and putting your best effort into your learning. These habits don’t just show respect for your teachers and school — they also build resilience, independence, and pride in your own growth.

School isn’t just about marks; it’s about the friendships, teamwork, and memories you create along the way. Continue to show respect and kindness to one another. Support your classmates and teachers. Look out for your friends and check in on how they’re going. Remember — we’re stronger together!

If things ever feel overwhelming or you just need someone to talk to, remember there are many people here to support you. Reach out to your Student Advisors, Mr Dang or Ms Killham, or speak with our School Counsellor, Ms Little, or Mr Andrlon. Our SSO, Ms Turner, and SLSO, Ms Thomas, Head teacher of Wellbeing, Ms Stock are also here to help. You can also talk with Deputy Principal, Mr Geremy, or Principal, Ms Iemma, if you need further guidance.

To celebrate all your achievements and the end of an amazing year, we have something exciting coming up — the Year 9 End-of-Year Wellbeing and Friendships Day on Friday, 5th December 2025! We’ll be heading out on an excursion to Sydney Sea Life Aquarium and Wild Life Sydney Zoo, followed by a relaxing picnic at Tumbalong Park. It’s a day to celebrate your hard work, reconnect with friends, and finish the year with positivity and pride.

So, keep turning up, keep trying your best, and keep being kind. You’ve come this far — let’s finish Year 9 strong, together!
