Academic Annexe – Change to Hours of Operation
Due to Year 9 Camps, Year 10 immersions, Year 11 Snowy Hike and other end of year activities, the Academic Annexe will have changed hours of operation during the final weeks of term.
Week 5 – hours of operation
Monday – Wednesday: 3:10 pm - 5:10 pm
Thursday: 3:10 pm - 4:10 pm
Week 6 – hours of operation
Monday – Wednesday: 3:10 pm - 5:10 pm
Thursday: 3:10 pm - 4:10 pm
Week 7 – hours of operation
Monday: 3:10 pm - 4:10 pm

da Vinci Club
This term, students from Years 5 – 9 have been attending the da Vinci Club on a Thursday morning before school. The students have been completing a STEM challenge for their Stage. Year 5 and 6 had to look at rocket design and identify and solve an issue presented to them. Year 7 and 8 had to create a mini golf course that relied on an element of chance and Years 9 and 10 had to design a prototype for a new system of energy production to solve an energy issue. The students worked collaboratively in groups with cardboard, paper, straws, matchsticks, pipe cleaners, plasticene and a small amount of tape to create their models.
It was great to see these students engaging so well at 7:30 in the morning. The da Vinci Club will return again in Term 1 in 2026 and is open to all interested students.
