Upcoming Event - Community Walk Against Family Violence
Save the Date - Friday November 28 - this will be a wear ORANGE day for students and bring a gold coin donation in. Proceeds will go to the Orange Door, as decided by our wonderful SRC.
Why we walk....
The global theme for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence in 2025 is 'End digital violence against all women and girls'. The campaign highlights the growing issue of online abuse, such as harassment and coercive control, and calls for action to create a safer digital environment for women and girls.
Gippsland Women's Health in partnership with other Victorian regional women's health networks has recently launched the 'Stop Tech Abuse' campaign which highlights that 'Every person should feel free to express themselves in real life and online. But some people use technology to control others'.
Alongside this campaign they also launched the 'eAware: Women and Girls Online Safety Project' which has some great resources available. For more information and support please check out their webpages:
