Year 3/4 Camp Reflection – Camp ADANAC Adventure!

What an unforgettable few days our Year 3/4 students had at Camp ADANAC! From start to finish, the camp was filled with excitement, teamwork, and laughter as everyone embraced new challenges and created lifelong memories.

Action-Packed Activities

Students took part in a wide range of fun and adventurous activities including Water Action Tower, Water Slide, Camp Cooking, Disc Golf, Beach Volleyball, Hut Building, Canoeing, and the always-popular Flying Fox. Each activity gave everyone a chance to build confidence, work together, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Relaxation and Free Time Fun

When it was time to unwind, there was still plenty to do! Students made the most of the camp’s trampolines, Ga Ga Pit, and various sports activities — both outside and in the gym. Whether it was a friendly game of basketball, cricket, or table tennis, or simply hanging out in the cabins and shared spaces, everyone enjoyed the chance to relax, laugh, and connect with friends between scheduled activities.

Evenings to Remember

On the first night, we were entertained by Donvale’s Got Talent — what a show! Students sang, danced, told jokes, and performed incredible acts that had everyone cheering. The second night brought a more relaxed vibe with a movie night, where we watched Bolt and enjoyed some well-earned rest after a big day of adventures.

Team Spirit and Fun

The second day was jam-packed with more rotations and two multi-group activities; the Mud Run and Aerostomp, where teamwork and persistence shone through. It was fantastic to see students supporting one another, laughing through the mud, and giving every challenge their best effort.

A Camp to Remember

Camp ADANAC truly gave our Year 3/4 students the chance to shine, make new friends, and experience the joy of outdoor learning. A huge thank you to all the teachers, staff, and parent helpers (Joe, Nathan, Sasha and Sandra) who made it possible; and to our amazing students for their enthusiasm and energy!
