STEAM Program

Berwick College's STEAM program is kicking off with a great start! 

Two exciting new electives for year 9 and 10 students are diving into the worlds of robotics, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and electronics.

Year 9 STEAM students recently embarked on a fascinating excursion to Casey Tech School in Berwick. The day was all about 3D design and prototyping, giving students hands-on experience in bringing their creative visions to life. They explored and sketched designs in virtual reality, then transformed these digital creations into polished artwork using Adobe Illustrator. The final step was laser cutting their designs into vibrant neon acrylic, which they then used to construct their own take-home light boxes. It was a brilliant blend of technology, creativity and hands-on making!
