Top Class Dance

Last Tuesday, our VCE and VET Dance students attended the Melbourne Recital Centre to watch the highest scoring dance solos from 2024. This was such an enriching opportunity for students as they start choreographing and learning their solos that they will perform during their performance examinations at the end of the year.

The day was extra special this year for students as they were able to support their peer, Bella Cruse, as she performed her lyrical VET solo. Bella performed effortlessly, showcasing her skill and professionalism in front of teachers and students from around Victoria.

VCE VET Showcase

First performance of the year done and dusted! Well done to our VCE VET students for putting together their showcase in such a short amount of time with the support of Miss Occhietti. Students were able to demonstrate their two chosen styles through their own choreography. A special mention to our year 9 class! Half of the class demonstrated a live routine whilst the other half took the challenge to choreograph, film and edit their routine, as part of their first assessment. Thank you to all involved and thank you to our BCDA community for coming and watching the showcase!

SAVE THE DATE: Our next BCDA performance is on May 27th with all of our BCDA students performing!
