Presentation Ball

We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated Debutante Ball is just around the corner! This exciting event will celebrate our year 11 students as they mark an important milestone in their school journey. Below are a few important reminders and exciting updates to share.

1. Attendance Reminder

To ensure you are eligible to attend the Debutante Ball, students are required to maintain 95% attendance as per the Berwick College attendance policy for teachers to authenticate their work. Please note, truancy will be followed up by the year 11 Leadership Team, so make sure to attend all classes and engage fully in your learning. We are here to support you, but regular attendance is key to your success!

2. VCE Assessments & SACs

A big congratulations to all students who are beginning to complete their first assessments and SACs in the VCE program. We are so proud of your efforts to seek feedback and engage with your learning. Teachers are providing positive feedback, and we’re excited to see the hard work you’ve put in pay off. Keep it up—you’re doing great!

3. Full School Uniform Reminder

A quick reminder that full school uniform is expected every day. If you are out of uniform for any reason, please ensure you have a note from a parent or carer. If you're ever unsure about uniform requirements, check in with your Homegroup teacher for guidance. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to looking their best!

4. Debutante Dance Rehearsals

As many you get ready for the Debutante Ball, we hope you’re also keeping up with the dance rehearsals! We’ve heard some of you are already perfecting those ballroom moves, while others are finding your rhythm. No matter where you are in the process, remember, it’s all about having fun and enjoying the experience with your peers. 

Debutante fees need to be paid in full by Friday, 7th March. Also, the guest tickets will be made available shortly for those who have paid the debutante / partner fees.

5. Looking Ahead

It’s been a great start to the year, and we’re so excited to see all the wonderful things ahead. You’re off to a fantastic start, and we’re confident that with continued effort and determination, you’ll make this year one to remember. Keep working hard, stay positive, and know that we’re all cheering for you!
