Student Leadership Report

School Captain's Report 

Greetings parents and guardians. What a term it's been so far. We've all been very busy with a lot of activities, out-of-school excursions, and in-school activities too. The senior and middle students went to cross country on the 6th of March and did an amazing job showing respect, resilience, empathy for others, and self and sportsmanship and making our school proud.

The preps have been sounding out letters, and words and learning how to spell, they also have been learning how to structure sentences.

Meanwhile, the juniors are learning about conjunctions and collaborative working. They also have been learning about different shapes.

The middles are learning how to graph in maths and are learning about persuasive techniques in writing. They have been mastering their time tables also. They are also doing NAPLAN and have been doing an excellent job.

The seniors have been graphing their heights throughout the year every month

and have been answering questions about news articles. While writing based on picture prompts and also went on an excursion to North Geelong Secondary College featuring science, art, and food tech. We decorated cupcakes in food tech and designed pots in art, while making bouncy balls in science. The year 5’s have also been doing an amazing job representing our school in NAPLAN.
