Year 8 – Commitment, Growth and Wellbeing

Our Year 8 students have continued their high school journey with a genuine commitment to learning. As student advisors, we are consistently impressed by the enthusiasm, focus, and positivity this wonderful cohort brings to every aspect of school life.

They have settled into Year 8 remarkably well, and their smooth, confident transition into the new school year is truly commendable. Their willingness to embrace new challenges is a reflection of their strength of character and their readiness to grow both academically and personally.

To further support our Year 8 cohort, the Wellbeing Team will be hosting a Wellbeing Morning on Monday, 23 June 2025, during Periods 1 to 3, featuring a special performance by Brainstorm Productions.

Brainstorm Productions uses live theatre to empower students with practical strategies to enhance their mental health, resilience, and overall wellbeing. Each engaging performance is followed by a Q&A session, giving students the chance to reflect, ask meaningful questions, and deepen their understanding of the issues explored.

Additionally, Brainstorm provides curriculum-aligned classroom resources that will reinforce and complement our school’s existing wellbeing, cyber safety, and anti-bullying programs.

We are excited to welcome Brainstorm Productions to Beverly Hills Girls High School and look forward to a meaningful and impactful experience for our Year 8 students.
