Working Bee Update

It was a wet but wonderful, high-spirited morning spent in the productive garden and olive grove at the working bee yesterday. In true BNW fashion, a real sense of community was felt as parents and children worked together and families new to the school connected with longer standing community members. We focused on weeding in the olive grove and getting rid of rubbish and unwanted clutter in the productive garden, cleaning the bubblers in the undercover and at Sprout, and whipper snippering around the edge of fences and garden beds. A special door prize was drawn at morning tea and the lucky winners are off to the Tesselaar Flower Festival!
Thanks to Sam O'B, Ruth T, Meagan H, Ann B, Heather M, Sam O, Sarah, Jane E, Peter H, Joel H, Tess A, Geua, Ian A, Ben G, Danny, Seamus, all the kids and to anyone we have missed!
And a special thanks to the bringers of baked goods for morning tea - Tess and Heather
