Meet the Education Support Team

Hi, I'm Ella. I love working at our unique, colourful school and have been an ES here since 2020. I’m also an artist who exhibits and enjoys going on artist residencies. Last year I did a residency in Portugal. I enjoy painting, going for hikes, seeing live music and going for walks along the merri with my dog Gary.

Hi , I'm Sheena and I have been working at BNWPS for past 3 years. I am happy to be a part of BNWPS community. I was raised in India and moved to Melbourne with my family in 2015. I lived with my husband and two young children's. When I'm not at school I worked as an online math tutor and enjoy spending time with my family. I love travelling and have visited 5 countries around the world.

Hi, I’m Gia. I began my journey as an educator in 2022 with my work placement at BNWPS and have been a part of this wonderful community ever since. Originally from India, I hold a Master of Fine Arts and am pursuing a Bachelor of Education. I am deeply inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and strongly believe in the "100 languages of children," valuing their creativity, curiosity, and diverse ways of expression. I work as an education support, including OSHC and the front office, and I also coordinate the school holiday program. I feel privileged to support children in their learning and development.

Being an educator is a dream come true for me, and every day, I continue to learn and grow alongside the incredible children I work with. I look forward to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for all our students.

Hi, I'm Bee. I work full-time at the school as an ES,  part-time as an educator at OSCH and am currently studying at university to become a primary school teacher.

I'm passionate about my job and working where I get to help kids grow, discover their strengths, and build confidence. Before I found my true calling in teaching, I was a singer-songwriter and ran my own furniture design business. I love spending time with my dog, Buddy, and going on adventures with him and my friends. I'm a creative, passionate person who has a deep love for life and the people in it.

Hello! I'm Katie. I've been a member of the wonderful BNW community for over 4 years as a parent of Elke in middles and Otis in juniors. Now I also get to be a part of the day to day, which I'm thoroughly enjoying. When I'm not at school, I do freelance copywriting for health brands like Metagenics and Inner Health Probiotics. Otherwise, you'll find me at the beach, having chai with friends, at reformer Pilates or watching Sharon Horgan tv shows.

Hi, I'm Jacob Diamond. I grew up in Perth with my five siblings, singing and practicing guitar. I have been lucky enough to pursue my passions professionally, now balancing my role in the ES team at BNWPS with my ongoing work writing, recording and touring music (you might occasionally spot me performing in an ABBA tribute band, too). While these two work environments have their contrasts, they both value inclusivity, hard work and most of all, passion. I'm proud to be part of both and thank my colleagues for their guidance and example.

I've worked at BNWPS for 9 years as an education support, but I've been a local in the Brunswick area all my life.

I'm very arty. I especially love doing art with kids. It's awesome fun! I am currently studying masters in art therapy at La Trobe.

Hi, I'm Paris. I've been at BNWPS for one year and I love being a part of the school community. Some fun previous jobs include working as a ski instructor and vintage hand. Outside of school you'll find me spending time with my family, camping and watching the Tillies.

Hi I'm Susan. I've been working at BNWPS for almost 11 years. I have 3 children (20,18 and 17) and grew up in country Victoria on a dairy farm. Outside of school I like doing jigsaw puzzles, playing tennis and reading.
