Rejuvenating the Garden Beds

Over the weekend, Di – a former parent who was part of the Environmental Sustainability Group (ESWG) – returned to complete a project planned for last year. This is part of the rejuvenation plan for the veggie garden. We are trying our hand at vertical gardening with strawberry plants!

The columns are made from recycled plastic (usually used for agricultural plumbing), which is why they have a multicoloured appearance. 

It's important for students to see products made from recycled materials, helping them understand the full cycle of what they put in the recycling bin.
