Hello from Grade 2/3 Quarrier
Respect, Responsibility and Kindness
Everyone in Grade 2/3 Quarrier has had a busy and engaging term. We have thoroughly enjoyed our learning across all areas of the curriculum and have shown great enthusiasm in the classroom.
Throughout the term, students have built new friendships, strengthened existing connections, and developed positive relationships within our classroom community.
This week, we have been reflecting on our highlights from the term and sharing what we are most looking forward to in Term 2.
Here are some our favourite things:

Filling our classroom jar for the first time and celebrating with a Teddy Bear Picnic was a definite highlight for many students. Another exciting moment was winning the annual Battle of the Chicks competition, with our prize being a delicious hot cross bun morning tea!

Term 2 promises new adventures and learning opportunities. We will begin exploring persuasive texts in our reading and writing sessions and dive deeper into addition and subtraction in maths. Many of us are also looking forward to participating in the Whole School Athletics, and Jets Gym remains a favourite activity that we all enjoy.
We wish everyone a happy and safe Easter and hope you enjoy the school holidays. We can’t wait to continue our learning journey with Mrs Q in Term 2!
