Student Voice Grade 2

The Grade 2 Student Voice Leaders gave the following feedback, which was gathered from the students across the level.

The things they thought were working well:

-Maths: We like activities that we are doing in class to learn about addition and place value (e.g. the rounding up game)

-Writing because we get free choice. We also enjoyed writing our self evaluations

-Spelling: because we learn new tricky words. We like doing our sentence dictation and sorting words based on the spelling choices

-Going to specialists

-Reading stories and reading our own favourite books

Their ideas about what would be even better if:

-We had more Chromebook time

-We had a storage container in our own building for the mitchcoins/tokens we make as a level

-There were more brain breaks outside

-We wrote more of our own stories based on a book we have read (like we did for Tiddalick)

We look forward to including their suggestions when we are planning for the rest of the year :)
