On the Green

What an extraordinary experience it was for our musicians to rehearse and perform over the weekend alongside the incredible Kate Ceberano! Her warmth, authenticity, and infectious enthusiasm created a truly unforgettable atmosphere, and her connection with the audience was electric. Kate’s encouragement and collaborative spirit were a genuine inspiration to everyone involved.

Congratulations to every musician who participated in this special collaboration, with a special mention to Year 12 vocal student Georgia Johnston, who delivered a stunning performance alongside Kate in the moving piece Lazarus Drug.

We also extend our thanks and congratulations to our exceptional supporting artists, including Ella Jesson McIntyre (Year 12 Music Extension student), Caitlin Southwell (Year 12 Music student), Jessica Postle (Class of 2016) and the wonderful Clayfield College Big Band.

It was also a joy to welcome back and showcase the talents of our alumni: Chloe Noon and Sophie Lloyd (Class of 2024), who performed with poise and professionalism. Their involvement in this event is a testament to the enduring strength of our musical community.

Bravo to all for a spectacular celebration of music, talent, and collaboration!
