A great start!

Foundation students have had an exciting start to their primary school journey. They have settled well into school and have shown great resilience in various situations, whether it was a scorching long day, getting to know new surroundings, making new friends, following the school schedule, or experiencing a breathtaking unexpected storm. We understand that waking up early to come to school would have been a challenge, but these champions have been braving all odds and coming to school wearing their best uniform and their brightest smiles.

Over the last few weeks, we have been busy learning, playing, singing songs, dancing, running around, exploring our classroom, making new friends, and taking tours of different parts of the school. It's incredible to see how much more independent the children are becoming with each passing day, and how they are beginning to develop their confidence in literacy and numeracy.

Students have also worked hard on enhancing their personal and social capabilities in the past weeks. They have been learning about different emotions and feelings and how they are expressed through facial expressions or body language. We will continue to build these capabilities and will provide them the skills to bounce back when they face a challenging situation.

What a great beginning Rosellas and Lorikeets! Keep it up.
