Wellbeing

WELCOME BACK to all our existing and NEW parents, students and families.

We are very excited at Holy Saviour to have some wonderful programs, sessions and events planned for the year to support and nurture your child’s social and emotional learning.  So...what’s new at Holy Saviour?

Return to School

It is natural for some students/families/parents to experience some anxiety and uncertainty when returning to school at the beginning of the year.  Andrew Fuller has written a great article for parents titled: ‘How to Get Your Child’s Learning Mojo Back’ which might help you work through some of the ‘worries’ or concerns your children are facing when it comes to their own learning.

About Real Life: Sexuality Education

Once again, as part of our commitment to child safety and student wellbeing we will be running a series of workshops for children led by Sue Pain from About Real Life. The About Real Life program educates young people and families about Sex Education and Healthy Relationships.

Sue Pain will be running family sessions with our MLC (3/4) and SLC (5/6) classes on Tuesday 20th February:

MLC (3/4) - 6pm - 7pm

SLC (5/6) - 7.15pm - 8.15pm

For an outline of what will be covered for each session please refer to the flyer below:

Please contact me if you have any questions, queries or concerns. I am always happy to make a time to meet with parents to discuss your child’s needs.
