From the Office

Welcome back to a new school year!

Remember, the office team are here to support you with any queries you may have.

Parent Payments

Thank you to all the families who have made a contribution to the school in the form of curriculum contributions.

We are accepting parent payments at the office and will be sending home another copy of the parent payments arrangements to all families in the next week or so.  The Parent Payments Arrangement outlines what the curriculum contributions support at the school. Any contribution a family can make assists with supporting the educational needs of all our students.

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF)

Eligible families are able to apply for Camps Sports and Excursions Funds (CSEF) to assist with the cost of students attending these types of activities.  the funds cannot be used for other purposes, but may help families to cover the costs associated with their child attending camp and other activities.  To register for CSEF, a form needs to be completed and handed in to the school office.  Copies of the form are available in the school foyer.

To be eligible for CSEF, a parent or carer need to be receiving a benefit, and have an appropriate benefit card.  Cards such as Disability Support Pension, Health Care Card, Job Seeker, Parenting Payment and Sickness Allowance cards are some examples of accepted cards.  Staff at the office can assist with questions about your eligibility.

Please Note: Applications for CSEF cannot be accepted after June 28, 2024

School Hats

During terms 1 and 4, all students are expected to wear a hat during lunch and recess.  The school hats are available for purchase from the office for $15.00 each

Lost Property

If your child looses an item at school, please check the lost property box.

We also suggest all items belonging to your child are clearly marked with their name. If items are marked with the student's name, office staff will return the item to your child.

Students and Medication

If your child needs to take medication while they are at school, the medication needs to be stored in First Aid with our First Aid Officer, Fay.  Please contact the school and speak to Fay who will ensure that any medication is correctly store and administered.  This includes asthma pumps and epipens.

If the school is aware of any medical conditions with students that require monitoring or attention during school time, Fay will be in touch to ensure a proper plan is in place to care for your child.

Student Details

Have you moved address? Changed telephone numbers? Selected a new doctor to look after your family? Need to update the emergency contacts the school can call?

If there have been changes in your life that affect your child, you may need to update your details at school.

We do aim to send out a "Student Enrolment Information Form" for each student in the next week or so.  These forms show the details the school has on our system for your child.  We will be asking that parents check the details on the form.  If any information needs updating, then we ask that you please make alterations on the form, sign the fron cover, and return the form to the school office.

Have you logged in to Sentral?

Sentral is the major communication toll used by the school.

You can find out about the Sentral app on their Website: Parents Portal and App - Sentral

If you have forgotten your log in details to Sentral, please contact the office, and we will be able to help you with logging in.
