2024 Extra Curricular Sport Calendar

For those who are interested in pencilling in some sports dates for next year, please see below. I am aware that some of you would like to use the holidays to get prepared for the sports early on in Term 1, which is wonderful. Swimming applications are currently open (see information below). Division Tennis Tryouts:

There will be tryouts for Grade 5/6 students for the Division Tennis this Thursday (girls) and Friday (boys). Please bring your P.E. shoes if you wish to try out. You may bring your own racket or borrow one of ours.

Please notify Claire Morris before 4pm on 2 February if your child is unable to attend but still wishes to be considered.

Division Swimming:

Please complete this form to express your child's interest in the Division Swimming Competition to be held at Eureka Aquatic Centre 50m Pool on 1 March, 2024.

There will be an approximate cost of $10 for the event (which allows for swimmers to compete in a maximum of two individual events, one freestyle relay and one medley relay). Please note that students will be selected for their events as each school is limited on entry numbers and qualifying times are enforced. Events and relay teams will be selected based on times provided when registering (this is compulsory) and not all students will necessarily get a place in their chosen events.

This competition is open to students turning 9-13 in 2024. Age groups are based on participants' age as of 31 December 2024.

This form must be completed by 9 February 2024. Permission and payment request will follow shortly after closing date.

More information will be forwarded to registered families when finalised.

Division Lawn Bowls Tryouts:

Student in Grade 5/6 are invited to attend four tryout session for Division Lawn Bowls at lunchtime on 6, 8, 13 and 15 February 2024. Please bring along P.E. shoes for these trainings. Please notify Claire Morris within 24 hours of missed tryout if your child was unable to attend but wishes to still be considered.
