Sport at Homestead

Term 2 was a big one for sport at Homestead Senior Secondary College, with students from Years 10 through to 12 proudly representing the school in netball, soccer, badminton, futsal, and cross country. 

Our badminton teams led the way, with the Senior Boys, Senior Girls, and Year 10 Boys all taking out the division title in impressive fashion. In cross country, students showed great resilience and effort, with a special shout-out to Vanessa M and James P for their outstanding individual performances and high placings in their respective races.

The netball teams competed with spirit and skill, notching up some solid wins, but ultimately fell short against tough opposition on the day. Soccer and futsal teams came up against some strong and well-drilled opponents, but their determination has only grown. 

Players are already looking ahead to 2026, aiming to sharpen their tactics and build cohesion through regular training.
