Term 2 Wrap-Up and Term 3 Outlook
As we approach the end of Term 2, I’d like to congratulate all Year 11 students on the smooth completion of their mid-year exams. It was encouraging to see students approach their assessments with focus and maturity. These exams are an essential stepping stone in preparing for the rigour of Year 12 and VCE Unit 3 and 4 exams. We expect all students to attempt and complete their exams—attendance is not optional, and full participation supports strong academic outcomes.
For those Year 11 students currently undertaking a Unit 3 subject, you will now begin Unit 4, the final component of your Year 12 subject. This is a significant milestone, and we encourage you to remain consistent with your study habits. Successful completion of Unit 3 and 4 this year will allow you to take on a new Unit 3 and 4 subject next year, giving you a valuable advantage in your VCE journey.
Looking ahead, Term 3 is a 9-week term filled with opportunities and key events. It’s essential that students maintain high standards in attendance, punctuality, and uniform. Students must be in full school uniform every day, and absences should be reported with valid reasons. Continued engagement with set coursework is critical—not only to progress through current units but also to ensure readiness for future Areas of Study (AOS).
Key Dates – Term 3:
These events are designed to support both academic and career planning, helping students make informed decisions about their pathways beyond secondary school.
Finally, a reminder that exams will conclude on Thursday 3rd July, and all students are expected to attend their exams and VCE Access Year 12 classes until this date.
Thank you to students, parents, and staff for your continued support. We look forward to a productive and engaging Term 3.
