Upon returning each term, amongst others, one issue the pastoral leaders commonly deal with is to do with inappropriate haircuts that are not in line with College standards. I ask all families to work alongside the College in ensuring the students are neatly presented on their return.
There are currently a few students who are missing blazers which were clearly named. We ask that all families please check that your son has brought the correct blazer home. Please use the holiday time to have your son’s blazer dry-cleaned and ready for Term 3.
All items brought to school should be clearly labelled with the student’s full name and House. We have 1,800 students enrolled at the College, which means unnamed items or items with student initials or first name only make it very hard to reunite with the owner.
Students participated in the annual House Athletics Carnival. Special thanks to Richard Graham, Corey Robinson and Matt Millward from our Sport Department for co-ordinating the day. Congratulations to Ignatius House who took out first place on the day.
Parents of Loreto College are pleased to invite students in Years 8 and 9 to the Loreto College Dance on Friday 1 August from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
This dance will be held at the Mary Ward Centre, Loreto College, 415 Cavendish Rd, Coorparoo.
Pre-purchased tickets are essential (no tickets will be available at the door). Tickets are $20.00 each and can be booked now via this link - https://www.trybooking.com/DCAQU.
