Well done to all students for completing Semester 1. On Friday afternoon this week, Semester 1 Report Cards for Years 5-10 will be released in the Parent Orbit App. These reports contain important information on achievement, learning behaviours, position in the cohort as well as pastoral, instrumental and boarding feedback. As usual, an email will be sent to parents when reports are made live on Friday afternoon.
In addition to report cards, assessment task feedback for all subjects is also available on the Parent Orbit App. This is targeted feedback provided by each teacher on the strengths and weaknesses of each summative task submitted. Please take time to discuss this feedback with your son.
How do I access my son’s feedback via Parent Orbit App?
Parents and students should have now received and completed, via their web-preference link, for their Year 11, 2026 subject selections.
SET Plan Interviews will take place on Friday 27 June (Term 2) and Monday 14 July (Term 3), (appointments will be available on both days, however, only one interview is permitted per student). These interviews provide an opportunity to discuss students’ future pathways and subject selections for Year 11 and 12. Both students and a parent/carer are required to attend. Parents can select which round of these interviews will suit them best and bookings occur via the Parent/Teacher booking system on the Parent Orbit App. Information was emailed to parents last week. For Boarding families, face-to-face interviews can be arranged earlier in the week, via Teams or can be booked for Round 2 at the start of Term 3.
9ASH lessons at the end of Term 2 will focus on Year 10 subjects. Year 9 students will look into pathway planning and subject offerings in Year 10. Here are some key dates for our Year 9 students:
More information will be provided to students via the Academic Care Team early in Term 3.
Please find here a list of Old Boys who are available to tutor your son outside of school hours. This list can also be located on the parent portal or via this link. Please note it is the parent’s responsibility to organise and liaise tutoring times with the Old Boys.
