LITERACY
During Literacy, we have been busy continuing with our narratives. We have begun the publishing process by typing out our work on the computers and illustrating pictures. It has been exciting becoming authors.
We have also been exploring knowledge of homophones. We now know that homophones are words that have the same pronunciation but have different spelling and different meanings.
NUMERACY
During Numeracy, we have continued to work on division. We have worked hard over the last few weeks to develop our understanding of division and have explored making groups, writing division stories and have even completed some equations with remainders.
We have also begun to develop our understanding of volume and capacity. We have enjoyed exploring different size containers and finding the difference between volume and capacity.
SEL/INQUIRY
During SEL, we are discussing feelings and what we can do when we experience BIG feelings. We are working at identifying the different types of feelings and discussing strategies we can use when experiencin these feelings.
