Grandparents/Special Friend Day

Thankyou so much to everyone who was able to come along to celebrate this special day with us! We LOVED seeing the smiles on so many faces!

Be Awesome Day - Donations

Thankyou so much to everyone who has already donated to our stalls! We are so excited to spend this special day with you all!

Also, if anyone is also able to help out at the BBQ for the day, please contact Lauren Schulz. Thankyou!

Daenke are hosting a MARVEL-lous raffle and game: Instead of donated items, it would be greatly appreciated if all 3-4 Daenke students were able to donate $2-$4 to reimburse Mr D for the stock purchased. Coins can be brought directly to class anytime in the next two weeks.

Harris/Green will be having a t-shirt design stall. We are seeking donations of white t-shirts (different sizes), texters, sharpies, paint sticks/ markers, fabric pens, fabric stickers and stencils - thankyou!

Schulz - Grade 3/4 Schulz would appreciate donations of prizes for our ‘Lucky Cups’ stall. We welcome new and used prizes including stationary, toys, fidgets, books - thank you for your generosity!

Mitchell will be holding a photobooth stall. If you have any props that you would like to donate to our stall or A4 sheets of white cardboard/cardstock that we could use to print the photos on (rather than just using thin photocopy paper) it would be very appreciated!

Staley/Alexander will be running a Rock, Paper, Scissors/Lucky Card stall this year. You will need to beat us at Rock, Paper, Scissors before choosing a random playing card. Whichever card you choose will decide your prize!

To support our stall we have been seeking small packets of edible prizes from our community. Thanks so much to those who have already sent these in.

Learning in Weeks 5 & 6

Mathematics: In Fluid Groups we will continue to look at 'Time'. In Applied Maths, we will review a few different topics from throughout the year including 'Area', 'Perimeter' and 'Shapes'.

Writing & Reading: Students will be exploring morals/themes throughout a variety of different picture story books including - 'The Good Egg', 'The Little Red Hen' and 'Bunny Money'. Using these texts for reference, students will then plan and write their own stories that aim to share a moral/theme with their readers.

Topic: This fortnight we will be learning all about Australia's famous natural and man made landmarks! This will include features such as Uluru, the Great Barrier Reef, the Sydney Opera House and Parliament House.
