WHAT TO WEAR!!!

There are some important whole community events coming up. You are reminded what the students are to wear to these events:

Presentation Day at the Town Hall - December 11 from 12 noon. Your child is expected to wear FULL summer uniform included black school shoes.

Family Carols Night on the Lawn - December 13 from 5.30 pm. Come dressed in the spirit of Christmas.

End of Year Mass at St Patrick’s Church - December 16 at 9.30 am. Your child is expected to wear FULL summer uniform included black school shoes.

Year 6 Retreat Luncheon and Gingerbread Assembly - December 17 (time TBC). Our Year 6 students will have free dress on this day. Please ensure that they wear something that covers their shoulders, covered in shoes and have a broad brimmed hat. The other students are to wear their summer uniform

CONDOLENCES

Our thoughts and prayers are with Chloe and Lylah Gerlofsma and family on the sad loss of their great grandfather Don Hamel

OUTSTANDING HOME READERS

Infant’s students are reminded that all home readers need to be returned to their class teacher by the end of next week (week 9). There are a lot of books outstanding and need to be accounted for by the end of the year so new supplies can be ordered if needed.

STUDENT DEPARTURE FROM SCHOOL

It is a board of studies requirement that the destination school of all students leaving St Joseph’s school be recorded. If a student does not nominate a school to be enrolled at it is the Principal's legal obligation to notify the appropriate authorities that the student school destination is unknown .

FAREWELL

It is tinged with sadness that we farewell some families and children from St Joseph's community, especially the great Year 6 students April Collins, Collie Cooper, Christabel Cusveller, Maggie Grigg, Lane Grob, Max Lane, Indie Lawson, Zoe McAllister, Jace Southern, Willow Southern, Ryder Swift, Harriet van der Waal, Andy Watson, Manuel Zapata, Atticus Zietek and Velvet Lawson who moves to a new school.
