All Saints' Day

This week, we commemorate All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on 1 and 2 November to remember our loved ones who have gone before us. For Christians, these are not days of sorrow but joyful expectation that we will all be reunited one day in heaven.

Dear Lord, bless us and grant that we may remember them with charity and kindness, walking reverently in the ways that they have left behind them. Amen.

Congratulations

We are thrilled to announce that last week, our school achieved remarkable success in a variety of extracurricular activities. These achievements not only reflect the talent and hard work of our students but also the dedication and support of our staff. We are truly grateful for their efforts.

The week commenced with the Under 16’s girls Rugby League Team winning the state final. Ms Watkins and Mrs Peasley accompanied the team with their coach, Mr David Dever.

Secondly, the Bishop announced that we were secondary winners of the Decorate Your Space Competition. Mrs Zoe White and her team of talented artists chose an old piano for their space, and the effect was amazing.

Success continued at Beef Bonanza, with Ms Lisa Bright and her team of agricultural enthusiasts winning the Grand Champion and Supreme Steer.

To top off the week, the Dance Team with Mrs Bronwen Smith and Ms Amy Foster won the Cheercon Awards as the Scholastic Grand Champions.

A huge thank you to our talented students and their parents for supporting them in their extracurricular interests, and thank you to our dedicated staff who continually go above and beyond to support, inspire and challenge our students not only in the classroom but on the field and in the paddock to pursue their passions and develop their talents.
