Dear Families
This week we celebrated the diverse nature of College life with the Magis Awards Breakfast and the Associated Catholic Colleges (ACC) Inclusive Multi-Sport Day Carnival. Congratulations to Ms Daisy Farley and all Magis students for their commitment to the dynamic Magis program at the College throughout the year. Yesterday’s Awards Breakfast highlighted the breadth and depth of their passion, dedication and comradery in pursuing academic excellence and their representation of the College. In particular, we thank our Year 12 Magis students for their contribution to the development of the Magis program. Collectively, they have represented their House, the College, their state and country in over 40 different competitions since Year 7.

Today we welcomed students and staff from other schools to participate in the ACC Inclusive Multi-Sport Day Interschool Carnival. The carnival day allows Secondary students of all abilities from ACC schools to try a range of sports conducted by WA State sporting bodies. A day of fun and friendly competition for Mary Ward Secondary students, we thank Ms June Chiaroni, Mary Ward Secondary staff and the sports staff for their organisation and dedication to ensure that students enjoyed a wonderful day.
Today is World Teachers’ Day and we thank those parents who generously provided morning tea for staff to enjoy.
Inspire Workshop
The Parents' Association is committed to providing valuable educational experiences through our 'INSPIRE' program, which focuses on parent education through presentations, forums, and interactive sessions. Our program funds a range of speakers and educators who address health and wellbeing issues affecting young people and their families. In this interactive workshop, we invite parents and guardians to come together and brainstorm potential topics for our 'INSPIRE' events in 2025 and beyond. Your input will be important in helping us identify the most relevant subjects that will benefit our community. By attending this workshop, you will be part of a proactive community that is dedicated to the educational and emotional wellbeing of our children. Together, we can create a robust and relevant program for 'INSPIRE' into the future.
We look forward to your participation and contributions.
