From the Leadership Team

Dear GPS community,

Spring is here and the end of the school year is rapidly approaching. Term four is always an incredibly busy term with numerous extra-curricular and end-of-year events in the pipeline.

I am very much looking forward to my first GPS Remembrance Day ceremony on November 11. This is such an important date on our annual calendar where we are able to take a few moments to honour and respect the past and present Australians who have served and also fallen for our country. This year’s ceremony will also include an unveiling of our (still to be completed) upgraded ANZAC Memorial space.

Our Crazy Colour Day is also fast approaching and I am led to believe that the chances of me being ‘slimed’ are growing by the day. I’m very much looking forward to the event and I’m sure the children will have an absolute blast. I’m not so certain I’m looking forward to being covered head to toe in slime, however, I am happy to ‘take one for the team’ for such a great initiative that will help the school enormously.

Until next time.

Kind regards,

Darren

Enrolments for 2025

Do you have a child starting school next year? Please pop in to our Front Office to pick up an enrolment form as soon as possible.

Salvation Army Golden Grove Hamper of Hope

Christmas, our traditional time of joy and celebration, can be a time of struggle and heartbreak for many.

We are asking our wonderful school community to support the Salvation Army Golden Grove with their Christmas appeal by donating an item of food that can be used in their Christmas hampers for local families in need.

In our front office there are two bins labelled Christmas Hampers, for you to pop your donated item into. The last day to place items into the bins is the 6th of December.

Thank you for your support, it is always greatly appreciated.

Warm regards,

Alison Warner

Assistant Principal
