Principal Report

Mr. Lehane

Message from Mr. Lehane

Welcome back to our final term of 2024, I hope everyone had an enjoyable break and got some well earned rest. I would also like to give an extra big welcome to our newest student Hunter and his family, we are very happy to have you join us at Bridgewater on Loddon Primary School.

Snakes

As the weather warms up this term it is important that we are on the lookout for snakes around the school. We will continue to talk to the students about snake safety and encourage them to play in safe areas of the yard, we would appreciate parents reinforce this messages to students and families.

2025 Staff

Our school has been included in the Mental Health in Primary Schools program for 2025 which means we will receive part time funding for a teacher to fill the role of Mental Health and Well-Being Leader. This will be the equivalent to two and a half days a week. over the past few weeks we have successfully filled this position and would like to congratulate Bronwyn Coffey. Ms. Coffey has a wealth of experience and has worked at our school as a CRT on several occasion over the past term.

Grandparents Day Picnic.

On Monday the 28th October we would like to invite Grandparents, Special Friends and Families to bring along a picnic to share with their student.

Guests are encouraged to join us at school to participate in a shared activity within the classroom at 10.00am which will be followed by a picnic outside at 11.00am. The morning will conclude at 11.45am.

We look forward you seeing you there!

Sun Smart

A reminder that hats are now compulsory for students to be outside. Please ensure your student has their school hat everyday as without it they will have to play in an undercover area no matter the weather.
