Our New Outdoor Kitchen!
We are very excited to introduce our outdoor kitchen at Sacred Heart! Following the removal of our beloved but very old and worn cubby house, we wanted to find a new way to enhance the play experiences for the children in the yard. An outdoor play kitchen is versatile and offers more opportunities for imaginative and social play, allowing our students to engage in role-playing and cooperative activities with peers. We hope that the addition of the outdoor kitchen will continue to foster social connections, as our students learn to cooperate, share and negotiate with each other in this new space!
We are currently in the process of planning purchases for pots, pans, utensils etc to give the kitchen its finishing touches!
