Language Experience Group

This term some students had the opportunity to participate in Language Experience activities with their siblings. 

We have enjoyed conducting science experiments (magic milk), STEM challenges (cup tower), gardening and cooking. We have lots of fun together and use these experiences to help us write some interesting recounts.

Recently our students have been working on a project about their home country. It has been wonderful to see them working with siblings and sharing memories and experiences with their peers. 

This week Akihiro and Quendra presented their posters on the Philippines and we cooked a tradition Filipino dish, Chicken Adobo. It was delicious! 

Next week our taste buds will be travelling to Afghanistan for some Mantu (dumplings) and Cambodia for some spicy noodles!
