Principals Report

Dear Chasers,

As we approach the end of another enriching academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had at Berwick Chase. The past months have been filled with growth, learning, and the joy of creating lasting memories.

Our students have demonstrated remarkable dedication, curiosity, and resilience in their studies, and it’s heartening to witness their progress. I extend my deepest appreciation to our talented and committed teachers, staff, and, of course, our supportive parents who have played an integral role in our students’ success.

To celebrate the achievements of our students, we have planned a series of special events and activities in the coming weeks. Please mark your calendars for the following:

  • Grade 6 Graduation: On Monday 11th December at 6pm, Grade 6 families can join us for a heartwarming ceremony where we’ll acknowledge the accomplishments of our Yr 6 students and bid farewell to our graduating class.

  • End of year Concert: On Monday 4th December we invite all families to come together for a joyful picnic on the school grounds. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents, share stories, and celebrate the strong sense of community that makes Berwick Chase so special.

  • Whole School Transition: On Tuesday 5th & 12th December, students will have the opportunity to spend time getting to know their new classmates and teachers for 2024. This is a great time to start making new connections, which also helps to settle some nerves over the holidays!

  • Class Parties: Classes will celebrate together on Friday 15th December with their Class Parties. More information will come home soon from individual class teachers, explaining what your child’s party will entail.

As we close this chapter and prepare for a well-deserved break, I want to express my gratitude for the support and collaboration that defines our school community. Our shared commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for our students is truly commendable.

Warm regards,

Chris Short
