Activities Week

RESPECT: Activities Week for our Year 9 students has included a task where they completed an escape room based Chemistry.

This activity engages students in learning, increases motivation, and bridges the gap between classroom chemistry and the real world, as well as allows for teamwork and peer learning.

Fishos Clean Up Day

UNITE: Over the weekend, our wonderful SSL Year 9 leaders took to the beach in a great effort of educating the community around the importance of keeping it free of rubbish. The Lions Club traded a ‘snag for a bag’, it was a wonderful display of community engagement. Thanks to our Year 9 Surf Coast leaders, community members and The Lion Club, 9 large garbage bags were collected over the day.  The rubbish will now be sifted through and data collected in an effort to better understand our coastal rubbish system.
