Foundation

In Religious Education the Foundation students have been learning about how we celebrate Christmas. They have learned all about Advent and the Birth of Jesus. Students have created some beautiful artwork and are enjoying some time in our new Christmas dramatic play area.

Mrs Fleming and Miss Bibby are very proud of the commitment the Foundation students and their families have shown towards home reading this year.

We have had 12 students already achieve an amazing 200 nights of home reading with quite a few who are so close. Great effort everyone!

Years 1 and 2

What an amazing afternoon we had last Thursday at our 'Arcade Extravaganza!'

The students enjoyed sharing their arcade games with family, friends and other students. A lot of time and effort went into creating these games to consolidate our learning about 'forces' in our Inquiry unit. This was a terrific hands-on way to develop our learning and understanding.

We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all our families for your participation and support in 2023. We have enjoyed lots of wonderful learning experiences throughout the year including: The Years 1 and 2 staybacks and the Year 2 sleepover, footy clinics, our sensational science incursion, Kaboom sports, productions, community assemblies, swimming, Responsible Pet Ownership, sports days, Italian day, casual clothes days, Magic with Tam, RACV Safety squad, Bookweek dress up, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Grandparents Day and the Arts Showcase just to name a few!

These events wouldn't have been possible without you - so thank you!

Next week we have more events to look forward to including our movie day at the Ky Plaza Theatre, Orientation Day, our Christmas Activity Day and of course, our F-4 Carols evening next Thursday - we hope to see you there!
