Deputy Principal's Report

As we approach the upcoming term break, it's a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible journey we've embarked on together. When we embraced the theme of "Strive for Greatness," little did we know just how swiftly and passionately we would dive into it. Yet, that's the magic of Oakleigh Grammar.

From the sizzle of sausages to pancakes, from weathering storms to basking in scorching heat, our experiences have been rich and diverse. Whether we've gathered for Church services, sat NAPLAN exams, or participated in swimming lessons and interschool sports, each moment has underscored our shared commitment to greatness.

Let's not forget our recent Easter egg donations—I'll admit, resisting the temptation was a challenge! But beyond these moments of celebration, let’s not forget the everyday resilience of our Early Learning Centre (ELC) students that truly inspires. In their explorative phase, they've demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination, striving relentlessly to learn and grow.

As we prepare to break for the term, it's important to remember our strength in service to others. Oakleigh Grammar's commitment to community is evident in our ongoing support for initiatives like St Kilda Mums. Once again, we're proud to announce our partnership with St Kilda Mums, an organization dedicated to supporting families in need.

During this holiday period, some families may choose to use their time to source donations for Mother's Day, contributing to the return to school with items that will make a meaningful difference to those in our community who need it most.

As we embrace this spirit of giving, let's remember the power we hold to uplift and support one another. Together, let's continue to embody the values of kindness, generosity, and compassion that define our Oakleigh Grammar family.

What a term!
