MILK BOTTLE WATERING CANS WITH HAKEA!

The children love helping us in the garden- especially watering the plants. We have some recycled milk bottles left from last year and introduced the children to a quick project today.

The children, with help from our student teacher Michelle, drilled holes in the milk bottle lid and decorated their own bottle. They were so excited to be allowed to use the drill. Once the bottle was finished, they children were able to fill it with water and help to water our kinder garden.

Children can easily learn the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling items instead of throwing them away. These are critical skills for helping to protect the natural environment and preserve resources. We will explore these concepts further throughout the year.
