SPOTLIGHT ON PERFORMING ARTS & MUSIC 

Prep, Grade 1-2 

Grade 1/2s have had heaps of fun and joy in learning the ‘Do Re Mi’ alphabet, the Tigalayo song, training their ear through action games like ‘What’s The Note Mr Wolf’ and making their snakes and ladders. Some of them have extended themselves to make their own song on the ukulele and xylophone. Check them out! 

Grade 3-4 

Grade 3/4s have been avid learners of the ukulele and have risen to the challenge of learning chords and melodies. They have immersed themselves in learning songs like ‘Stay With Me’, ‘Riptide’ and ‘Super Mario’. Check them out! 

Grade 5-6 

Grade 5/6s have been preparing for a talent show at the end of the term, and have enjoyed getting into groups to perform. Their talents include ukulele, dance, singing and comedy. Check them out!  

Victorian State School Spectacular 2024

16 of our students enjoyed their 1st rehearsal of VSSS 2024, learning how to dance for 4 songs for the big show. It was amazing to have the feedback from other schools that we - ‘the maroon school’ - were the most confident dancers of the day. Well done team!
