Chess Competition

Well done to Harvey Sedgwick, Leo Phan, Jayden Hogan, Sebastian El-Haddad, Marcus Parra & Cameron Neylan.

These students represented the school in Chess, with19 schools competing, more than 100 students taking part. Our students played 7 rounds and being one of the younger teams in the competition the year 3 children achieved 6th place!!

We’re proud of their efforts and sportsmanship, and know they learnt a lot from this experience.

Representative Sport

Former student Melissa Danelutti has represented Australia as a elite athlete for Bocce internationally 2 years in a row and will be contending for 1st place at the upcoming Australian bocce games in Melbourne in April 2024. Melissa was a Serviam student in year 6 ( 2018). Congratulations from all St Francis Xavier.
