It was so marvellous to see all the students hand in their homework last week. The presentation was of a high standard and it would be wonderful to see the students continue this throughout the year.

Oral Health Resources

Niangala students will again participate in the Hunter New England Local Health District oral health program for 2024. Students will be provided with a new toothbrush and toothpaste once a term provided by HNELHD. This program is run with HealthWISE who will visit the children to discuss the importance of good oral health and hygiene.

Child Safety Hub - Updated NSW Police Legacy Child Safety Handbook

The NSW Police Legacy Child Safety Handbook is a comprehensive and free resource to assist parents, carers as well as teachers on a range of topics essential to child safety.

The updated digital edition (link below) includes important content updates from: Fire and Rescue NSW (home fire safety), Transport NSW (school bus and seat belt safety), NSW Department of Communities and Justice (keeping children safe), eSafety Commissioner and NSW Rural Fire.
