Chess Grandmaster
On Wednesday, 3 December, we were graced by the presence of one of the top chess players in the world Temur Kuybokarov. Ned had reached out to Temur recently, and upon building a connection where they supported each other, Temur offered to come and support Trinity Chess.
The boys were able to play a game of simultaneous chess with Temur, who spoke to the boys about ways to improve their individual chess games. The boys then asked Temur a multitude of questions to which Temur happily gave answers.
We thank Temur for his compassion, his gentle-natured chess guidance and his support of Trinity Chess, and we look forward to having him back in the future.

Connect ED Program
On Tuesday, 25 November, Trinity College proudly hosted the fourth instalment of AISWA’s Connect ED program - a day dedicated to empowering early career teachers!
The program is all about building confidence in the classroom, sharpening instructional skills, and fostering professional growth. Trinity’s five early career teachers joined colleagues from Catholic and Independent schools for an inspiring day of learning and collaboration.
AISWA consultants shared valuable insights on data analysis and offered practical tips for creating standout professional portfolios. In addition, Trinity educators, Sabrina Hughes, Callum Walley, Gabrielle Ietto, Natalee Calegari, and Amanda Saraceni, opened up about their career journeys and what drives their passion for education.
It was a day of connection, inspiration, and shared commitment to shaping the future of teaching!
