Our Year 7 students recently took part in the Space Force Quest excursion: an engaging, hands-on STEM experience designed to spark curiosity and deepen scientific understanding.

Immersed in a space-themed challenge environment, students worked through a series of interactive activities, coding missions, and real-time simulations that brought core physics concepts to life.

Throughout the day, students investigated balanced and unbalanced forces, Newton’s Laws of Motion, momentum, energy transfer, and simple machines, applying these ideas to solve problems and complete team-based quests.

The experience not only strengthened their grasp of key scientific principles but also encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

Space Force Quest was a fantastic way to cap off our Science excursion program this year, giving students an exciting glimpse into the world of space exploration and the real-world applications of the physics they have been learning in class.
