Assistant Principal Report

Congratulations to our Year 12 students.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the Year 12 class of 2025 for completing their secondary schooling.

On Thursday 11 December, students received their ATAR results and many returned to school to celebrate with staff over a special morning tea. It was wonderful to see them back on campus, sharing their excitement and supporting one another.

Regardless of their score, every student should be proud of what they have achieved. Their hard work, resilience, and growth throughout the year reflects the true spirit of Scoresby Secondary College.

As our graduates move into university, apprenticeships, employment, or explore new pathways, we are excited for what lies ahead.

They will always be part of the Scoresby community, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the years to come.

A special congratulations to Anna Harper on achieving the Dux for 2025. We are extremely proud of her hard work, dedication, and outstanding academic success.

Looking ahead to 2026

We are very excited to announce two new programs launching next year:

  • The first is a hands-on learning program where a small group of students will spend one day each week at KIOSC, developing practical skills in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more.   In the second semester, students will apply these skills on school grounds by completing improvement projects and connecting with local community organisations. This program will initially be offered to Year 9 and Year 10 students, with the potential to expand to other year levels in the future.
  • The second is an extension program for high-achieving students, designed to challenge learners academically while developing their critical thinking and higher-order reasoning skills. This program encourages deeper inquiry, advanced problem-solving, and a passion for lifelong learning. Further details will be shared early in the 2026 school year.
