P-6 Swimming

P–6 Swimming Program Wrap-Up
Over the past three weeks, our P–6 students have taken part in our annual Swimming Program—an important and much-valued component of our Health and Physical Education curriculum.
Thanks to the wonderful team at Splash Factory at the Farm, our students enjoyed high-quality, engaging lessons in a supportive and professional environment. Their friendly instructors created a positive atmosphere in which students could develop water confidence, refine stroke technique, and learn essential water-safety skills.
Swimming is an incredibly important life skill, particularly in a country where water activities are such a big part of everyday life. Programs like ours play a vital role in teaching children how to stay safe around water, how to respond in an emergency, and how to build resilience and physical fitness.
It has been fantastic to see students’ confidence grow across the program—whether they were learning to put their face in the water for the first time, improving established skills, or challenging themselves with new techniques.
A big thank you to our staff for their organisation and support throughout the program, and to families for ensuring students were prepared each day.
We look forward to continuing to build strong swimming and water-safety foundations for all students in the years ahead.
