Primary School Message
What a joyful start we’ve had to the year in Primary. There’s been such a happy buzz around the place. Even this morning, walking through the playground, I saw children playing chess, chasing each other in good-natured games, and greeting friends with big smiles.
Connection is so important for our children, and for us. We’re reminded that God created us for relationship with one another. School is such a significant place where those connections grow, and it’s a gift to see that happening so naturally each day.
Swimming Carnival
We had a wonderful day at our Years 2–6 Swimming Carnival last Monday. It was fantastic to see students cheering one another on, having a go, and doing their very best. Please see below for the results.
Congratulations to all students progressing to the Zone Carnival this Thursday — we are so proud of you. A huge thank you to Mrs Vidler for her outstanding efforts in organising such a smooth and enjoyable day. She is such a blessing to our Primary School community.
Kindergarten Water Fun Morning
This Friday our Kindergarten students will enjoy their Water Fun Morning. They’ll take part in a range of fun water activities, adapted carefully in light of current water restrictions. We know they will have a wonderful time together.
Uniform Reminder
A gentle reminder to please familiarise yourself with our uniform guidelines, available on the school website and in your Welcome Book.
Please ensure:
- Correct uniform items are worn
- Socks are the correct colour
- Shoes are the correct colour
- Hats each day
This helps teachers focus on valuable learning time rather than uniform conversations. If you’re unsure about any uniform requirements, please feel free to email and check.
Parent Assembly
We’re looking forward to our first Parent Assembly on 6 March at 2:20pm in the MPC, with Year 2 performing. All parents are warmly welcome — we’d love to see you there.
Thank you for partnering with us in making Primary such a connected and joyful place to learn and grow.
“Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Primary School Carnival
Our Primary School Swimming Carnival was an absolutely spectacular day filled with energy, excitement, and incredible school spirit! From the first splash to the final race, the pool was alive with action as students eagerly participated in a wide range of events. Whether competing in competitive races, racing down the waterslide, or joining in the fun novelty activities, everyone got involved and gave it their all.
The cheering from the sidelines was electric, with house pride on full display throughout the day. Every stroke, every splash, and every finish brought loud support from teammates and friends.
After a fantastic day of competition, Lindner claimed a well-deserved victory! Vincent in second place, with West finishing proudly in third. Congratulations to all swimmers for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and outstanding effort.

Primary Snapshot
Visiting the Primary School classrooms is such a fascinating experience. To see the children settled, and diligently at work so early in the year, is a joy. Last week, over the space of an hour, we took a snapshot of Primary students in action.
Kindergarten was focused on painting a visual creation story; 1D were involved in a Maths rotation; 2G were practising their handwriting, and after finishing the learning task they were able to read a book. (A great reward for their hard work!)
Year 3 were undertaking a character analysis of the book, Mr Fox; Year 3 were also learning about synonyms and antonyms; Year 4 were learning how to draw a self-portrait; and our Year 5 and 6 students were engaged in Maths lessons.
