Congratulations to Year 4 student Albert Wei for receiving the Australian Music Examination Board Silver Award! Albert has shown great dedication to complete the requirements to achieve this award. This included completing the AMEB Grade 5 piano exam with a High Distinction, completing at least 4 public performances and contributing over 16 hours to music events in his community. Albert contributed a great deal to events around school, such as the Senior Choir and creating props for the Production. Outside of school, Albert demonstrated great ability in singing and was promoted to move up to the Treble Choir, which is the second highest choir in the Australian Children’s Choir. It’s wonderful to see Albert achieving so much in music both at Old Orchard and beyond. We are very proud of you, Albert!
