The School Improvement Team is responsible for ensuring that:

  • each year we evaluate our progress towards our School Strategic Plan
  • we then identify relevant annual goals for the year ahead

so that we are all clear about our priorities and how each of us ensure that we are striving to achieve these goals. To do so, a schedule of professional learning, collegiate observations, coaching and our Performance and Development Process is in place to support every colleague to increase their capacity in knowledge and practice.

Our Professional Learning Communities meet each week to review our teaching and our impact on student learning data to plan differentiated learning for the week ahead.

Our Year Level meeting time focuses on the organisational and technical elements of our work so that teaching is more efficient (planning incursions and excursions, ensuring the Assessment Schedule is followed including that all colleagues are familiar with how to use the different platforms that we access, resources etc.)

Our Consultative Committee focuses on the workplace agreement and how it is implemented at CPS.  We ask for one person per team to represent their team on CC.  Please discuss this as a team and send the name of your representative to Janet ASAP.
