đŸȘ©đŸȘ…đŸŽˆMardi Gras Staff Mask Decorating đŸȘ©đŸȘ…đŸŽˆ

Hi Team,

Mardi Gras is fast approaching, as usual we will have a parade in week 4 on the Thursday. To prepare for this we thought another crafternoon with snacks was in order.

If you would like to join us for a masking decorating couple of hours please join us in the science room from 3:30pm on Friday 13th Feb.

Please bring a small, easy snack to share with others, as well as any decorative/crafty items you may have. Think beads, sequins & feathers. We will have some masks printed out.

We hope to see you there!

🔮 AEU UPDATE 🔮

Thanks to all staff members who attended the important briefing on Tuesday about potential industrial action by AEU members. If you missed it, or you would like to refer back to the information, please click here.

Now is the most important time to join the AEU! The message from our national negotiation team and our regional organisers is that WE MUST VOTE YES TO INDUSTRIAL ACTION and the vote is coming very soon.

The ballot will open on Monday 16 February and close on Thursday 12 March.

The exact actions are to be determined through the union’s democratic decision making processes, but are likely to include stop work action, bans or limitations on activities such as overtime, responding to any enquiries, attending meetings, using online systems or personal electronic devices for work purposes, writing reports, structured school activities, and implementing DE initiatives. The campaign will have a wide scope of industrial actions, with increasing pressure on the goverment over time.

You must be a member of the AEU to vote for and take part in any industrial action, so please join us by clicking here!
